OUR STORY

The Bistro of Oakwood was started back in 2014 by Russ Chambers and Roger Stewart; two friends who have always had a passion for restaurants and bringing people together. They served as mentors to Tony Paumier for nearly 15 years in the Bistro culture, where he worked his way up in the ranks from dishwasher to now current owner. Originally in a dying shopping center, The Bistro quickly made a name for ourselves and became a staple to Plain Township and the surrounding Canton area. Over the years that followed we have watched the revitalization of Oakwood Square, and look forward to the bright future that lies ahead of us. It is truly amazing to see how far this plaza and Township have grown over nearly the last decade. We have achieved our goal of creating a place where friends and family can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere.
